Besides the mayor, who is the city attorney answerable to?  Is there a state office that oversees city offices?  Is this something you take to the Attorney General's office?

Bill will be at the Mar Vista Farmers market tomorrow as usual, I'm sure.

Stop by and say "Hi"!

Does anyone have the editing ability to isolate into handy clips those sections of the town hall video where bill, beck and the city attorney are lying through their teeth about the charges filed against the dumpers?

Ditto. To the neighbors who bothered to notice and call them in – you're awesome!  That's some community policing!  Neighborhood Watch at work.

If any of you are on Facebook, I recommended "friending" or "liking" the pages of Rosendahl, Zev, Oropeza and Lieu, then posting this story on their wall. In the past, I've gotten almost immediate feedback from elected officials by doing this.

Credit to marta's idea:

Bret should make this a front page item so all the people on facebook that don't hang out here on the forum but are YoVenice friends can hear about it immediately.

Claude if you watch the video, note the time count, and post them here, and then I can isolate them.

What strikes me here is that we continue to depend on politicians (the city atty is frist and foremost a politician) to resolve this for us and evidence indicates we might as well continue believing in the tooth fairy. Not to be negative but there seems to be no help on the way. Take for example all the unemployed who are waiting for help which does not seem to be on the way. Another thing that strikes me is that when the subject of RV's come up, even some of the crapping on the streets, most of my neighbors seem disinterested, apathetic and so long as this problem is not in their face and a few blocks away, they don't care. Evidently there are a minority of us who do care and want the problem ended throughout our entire community. The silent majority remains silent and will not act until each of them have some sh$t dropped in front of their homes. Give it time. I don't know where this is going but waffle between "give peas (peace) a chance," to anger and crazy thoughts like a community having to hire unemployed mercenaries to remedy our woes, or bounty hunters sometimes needed when the police are ineffective and our elected leaders leave the taxpayers blowing in the wind or wading through the poop.
