Thanks Bret.
If this was a forum on hammers, a new poster would say "what is a good hammer"
A poster that was trying to advertise "BBB" Hammers would say "I hear BBB's are awesome"!
A poster that was trying to attack "YYY" Hammers would say "I hear YYY's cause cancer!"!
A mentally ill poster that worked for "BBB" would say "I OWN A YYY HAMMER AND WANT TO KILL EVERYONE WITH IT"
I have seen enough forum posting ta know which way the wind blows.
I am going to use this, verbatim, in something. You can be an Associate Producer. Thank you xo.

Love the comments!
RV's, as they are pushed around, are now on Shell Ave., between Milwood and Shell Circle. This is new and they are plopping themselves in a residential neighborhood with at least 15 children living along this stretch. There are two today with one having expired plates. Talked with LAPD cruising nearby and they were most unhelpful even declining to write the expried plates violation and excusing the RVer cause they might say they forgot to put their sticker on the plate. They said call 311 and I was put on a long hold which seems to be SOP for most LA operations. This is unacceptable and if they are permitted to stay, right, more will arrive and in the words of the cop, "like cockroaches." Suggestions? Mr. Rosendahl, when are the OPD signs going up? Tell us Arturo, please, please. Get your a$$ in gear and take care of this or do we in the neighborhood have to in some fashion? I just paid my propeerty taxes. DO SOMETHING. SEND THE POLICE TO SHELL AVE. How about Kaplan's walks street association? There is an RV at Nowita (walk street) and Shell. This is something they could take on that would actually mean something.

OfflineThe RV/van situation is getting worse around Rose/Hampton as well. There are now more people parking and sleeping. They are hanging out on the sidewalks at night. Several times in the past few weeks there have been arguments/fights. Also, I've seen condoms now lying around in the street. So, careful where you walk. Anyone in that area be careful.
Hopefully, some partol cars will start swinging by more. Anyone know the best number to call for these? Maybe 311? I don't want to call 911 and I'm not sure which police station responds the best to Venice.

This is the only state I have ever been in or heard of that doesn't write up expired tags immediately: its a revenue issue. No wonder California is so broke! If you show the officer your sticker, they won't write you up.
[ side note, in mid-atlantic, they got even more strict on tags and current registration after 9-11 and especially after the DC snipers: it really is a security issue.]

Last week I was driving on the 110 downtown and happened to notice a nice BMW with June 2010 tags. Within less than a mile, CHP pulled him over. I didn't notice anything else wrong, so I presume it was the tag.
Have seen similar many times.
Broken down RVs seem to be exempt.
