So I am sitting at my computer just checking out a few things. I hear a big engine pull up in front of my place.

I only have parking facing south bound on the west side of Pacific ave. This moron pulls up on the west side of Pacific facing

north bound blocking 2 driveways.

I pick up the phone and call the cops. I have a sinking feeling about how and where he is parked. I hang up the phone

and the next thing I watch is this bastard gets out of the camper and walks around, looks up and down the street.

He then runs on the west side of the camper and opens his septic tank and I hear it all being emptied onto the street.

He runs to his door and jumps in and drives off. I call the cops back to put out a broadcast.

I then call a neighbor to run out and get the plate # at Washington Blvd. She calls me back with the plate and

I call the cops back. OMG the stench is sickening.

It is an older camper with bikes on the back, white with a long brown stripe from front to back. The guy is white about 5"6-5"7

shoulder length hair maybe glasses. The licence of the camper is 4EQM810.

If you see this camper please call the police and contact me. I will make a citizens arrest.

I sat and had tears in my eyes . I am amazed at what has become of this city and who is really running it.

This is one of the most sickening things I have witnessed.

What will happen when they put campers on city property. GOD HELP YOU!

UPDATE

OK, I just got back from identifying the bastards who dumped their in our streets. The husband was the  look out walking around checking for people and traffic.

He then got back in the camper. His girlfriend or wife jumped out the passenger door, pulled the plug and jumped back in and he

drove away while it was still dumping sewage. The  cops found  them parked illegally on 3rd and Sunset, behind Gold's Gym.

Crap and toilet paper was still coming out and hanging from their camper.

They had an 8 year old so they only arrested her. She went to 77th and $10,000.00 bail. He got a ticket for parking illegally.

They didn't want Child services called .That is why he wasn't arrested also.

Does anyone have any questions why I have fought for years, to get rid of the vehicle dwellers?

Like I have been saying, we are gonna miss you BD.  Venice needs more people like you that are not afraid to take a stand.  To take action.  Thanks, Brad Neal

Indeed. This is so outrageous… now that they have the reinforcement that child protective services won't jeopardize their family unit by taking the kid out of the rolling metal sh!tbox … dump on!

Wow. That's really gross. Good for you for doing something rather than just standing back assuming someone else will deal.

Also, I think it's a good reminder why installing cameras is a great idea.  They stop this stuff from happening in the first place and if they don't, the cameras will catch them doing whatever it is their doing.  And yes, recordings can be used as evidence so long as there's a sign announcing their presence.

Check the Neighborhood Watch forums for more information on camera installation. Extra eyes are a good thing.

Cameras do NOT stop them. I used to have a visible camera behind my garage. I removed it. It was gross watching the daily viewing of people crapping and peeing against my garage door. I just couldn't stand looking at them anymore. The camera didn't seem to bother them at all and they were long gone before the police could get there anyways.

Did you ever consider providing the footage to the LAPD?  They will support you if there's been a crime.  They can use video evidence provided you post a sign warning that footage will be used.

I have cameras on my Venice buildings and one of the things I realized early on was that most perps don't realize they are being filmed.  When they do, they tend to go to the next building.  Camera's work if you make them conspicuous.  Signs and motion lighting in conjunction with well palced cameras DO make a difference.

GROSS!  Doesn't the Coastal Commission care about the environmental impact of that happening so close to the ocean?!?!?!?

I thought the city program would put cars in lots with toilet facilities or porta-potties.  Wouldn't that help stop this problem?

Also, interesting to see that there are indeed families living in the RVs.  There seems to have been some debate on that.

I'll go way out on a limb here – and guess that they care more about people having access to the beach to dump their waste than they do the waste that is dumped. At least in Venice.

Yep,

The kids are hard to see when they are being hidden in order to keep them from the prying eyes of Child Services.
