(0 votes) The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) is looking for 5,000 volunteers to participate in the 2013 Homeless Count to be held on January 29, 30 and 31, 2013. The Count helps LAHSA demonstrate our area's need for housing, shelter and service programs to the federal government.
The homeless count in West Los Angeles will happen on Wednesday, January 30th. If you can volunteer, LAHSA would be grateful if you register by November 1st so that they can have a preliminary volunteer count. Click here for more information and to volunteer!

OfflineThanks for reposting Bret!
LAHSA is looking for volunteers and the deployment coordinator trainings are next week.
It is an interesting way to spend a few hours and I hope anyone who has any interest in homeless issues takes part. I'm usually a deployment coordinator but usually downtown. You can choose which part of town you want to participate in..
Bring a friend and you can work an area in pairs together!
