Thanks YO for posting this important information.  Anyone interested in signing up as a block captain may also sign up on the blue sheet at the VNC table at the Farmer's Market.   If/when the next earthquake comes, we may be on our own for days or weeks so be prepared.  

For anyone wanting to become  a block leader for Emergency Prep  and Neighborhood Watch, sign up and volunteer to be trained

by Nic Hippisley-Coxe, EP coordinator  of the VNC.

Not only do we have the Red Cross Shelter Ops course available on 
March 27th we also have the DAC (Disaster Awareness Course) presented 
by LAFD on April 8th at 6PM

Please let everyone concerned know, as they are both informative 
courses and will be so useful when the big one happens.
