We have too many of these live/work behemoths as it is (imho). Is this the future? Is this what everyone wants to live in? Our lots may be small in Venice, but at least we have a little outdoor area to relax and enjoy by ourselves. A rooftop does not make a yard to relax under a large tree or throw a ball to your furry house mates. I have a few neighbors with rooftop decks and I rarely see them up there. Houses built with no yards means higher density which means more traffic and cars in Venice, just what we all want to see, right? #notogridlock!
