Even a blind man can see those are shorts..

Video was forwarded to me. Person says the man is nude, can be seen in source video. I've asked for a copy of the source video, as has the LAPD.

That could be the naked man I saw walking down my street a few months ago, same general appearance. Cops took 20 minutes to respond and I don't believe they found him then. Or it was the same cops and they didn't care to find him.

After viewing this video we (LAPD Pacific Division) immediately started an investigation. Initially our investigation has revealed that once again the camera does not capture the whole story. The officers in the police car were able to turn around and detain the naked man. They ensured that he was alright, and with the help of a citizen were able to get the man some clothes. Sadly the kind acts of both the officers and the citizen were not captured on the same video. A thorough investigation of the incident is still ongoing.

Confirmed that the LAPD car turned around!

The person that originally emailed us the video went back to check it out after seeing the LAPD's comment here, and confirmed that the unit did in fact turn around! (The had not watched that far ahead in the video they said.)

Updating the front page with the new video!

To me, the true (albeit, accidental) revelation of this extended video is to witness what *appears* to be a service vehicle actually clearing sand & debris from the bike path. If investigators prove that to be true, it could be bigger than Bigfoot.

It look like they stopped or slow down in the first place. Why they did not get out of their car than? Do they need a few min to "digest" what they saw and return for it?

what amazing me is how cold its been in Venice in the last few weeks and the guy look like he is just fine without any close :-)

…well, nobody escapes shrinkage in the cold.   But he does look otherwise unperturbed.
