We have a store just north of Sunset Ave.  How the zipline will effect foot traffic is what worries me.  It seems to me that the majority of foot traffic is already concentrated between Muscle Beach and Sidewalk Cafe.  I imagine that the zipline will be a "quick elevator" ride back to the car.  I believe that it will adversely effect my business even though (or because) we are blocks away.

When Bill Rosendahl takes his first Zip ride he will do what he does best from high above piss all over the Venice residents. I hope this image sticks in everyones mind when it comes time to vote and I like many other residents will zip over to the polling booth and send Bill his very best out of CD11. It's time for change.

Based on Rosendahl's and LL's history you know EXACTLY where these funds will wind up, of course.

They will use them to fund more local outreach for the Homeless.

well, when the London Mayor is stuck on a zipline … one wonders what the salty air and gunk could possibly do (very opposed to the zipline or anything that carnivalizes Venice Beach and is an impediment to a pure sweet ocean view).

article in WSJ and many London papers today about the London Mayor being stuck. Ouch.

The Westwood NC has agendized the Zipline for it's Wed Aug 8th mtg.  The 7pm mtg is at the Westwood Presbytarian Church.  The appeal hearing has been moved to Friday Aug 10th, downtown.

Remember--the appeal hearing is tomorrow.  If you can't be there in person and have something to say, make sure to at least send the Board an email letting them know how you feel.

The appeal was denied.  Big props to everyone who attended the hearing and who wrote in.  Bigger props to Gail for filing the appeal in the first place.  A hearing before the Coastal Commission is the next step.
