The National Weather Service has issued a "coastal hazard message" for Los Angeles. A "coastal flood advisory" remains in effect from 5 am Thursday to 11 am Saturday. "King Tides" are expected, with high surf and strong winds.

The Surf Report

Minor coastal flooding is expected along immediate coastal areas due to high tides, with high surf and windy conditions each morning from Thursday through Saturday. Beaches from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles may be affected.

The canals were exceedingly low today, guess they may be exceedingly high tomorrow.

Really neat to see the algae covered canal bottom.
