(13 votes) A. Massey, a well known fixture of the Venice boardwalk, was arrested last week for stealing a surfboard and other property out of a garage near the Westminster dog park on December 11th.
Massey in happier times.
Massey made multiple trips into the garage at around 8:30 pm., allegedly selling the stolen goods at a highly discounted rate to "others" nearby. The owners of the home have some high quality security cameras, so Massey will likely not be seen around Venice for a little while.
Massey sees the surfboards, ignores the security camera.
It is believed that Massey had existing warrants at the time of his arrest.

The litter problem in Venice just got a microscopically better, I once watched him walking down my street tearing the paper away from his sandwich and letting it drop in the street as he walked along.
Sounds like he qualifies to be on one of Lucks VNC task force comities to make Venice cleaner and a safe place to live.
Is this the guy who also goes by "Gucci"? If so then glad to have him out of public. Some friends and I walked around him one day when he was "singing" and "dancing" and when we didn't want to give him a dollar he threatened us. One less person out there trying to shank you for simply enjoying public space.

The sad part about this this guy, more than likely will be let out of jail very soon. You better get you dollar ready because he will be back to get it.
