At 7:30 this morning, a homeless man allegedly attempted to steal a skateboard from someone on Ocean Front Walk. During the attempted robbery, the man stabbed the intended victims dog. Lensman Tony Vera heard the commotion and went to see what happened. Here is the video:
As overheard in the video, the alleged "stabber" is apparently well known as a trouble maker on the boardwalk and it apparently has been noted to the LAPD before that this man is in possession of a large knife.

It is a felony to stab an animal, as pets are considered "real" property.

Why be nice. I would have liked to see him punched in the face by LAPD. Stabbing a poor defenseless dog. This is an example of the kind of people the social service mafia and Rosendahl want's to protect. What kind of human garbage stabs an animal.

He lucked out..The cops got him first.
Cause if he picked the wrong local skater,[some of them have some serious back up]he would end up in the hospital.

Dont worry, he will be back this weekend. But The true Miracle here is that Tony's video is less than 15 minutes!
