Here's what I found on Google about the propsosed hotel development (notice regarding a community meeting) –

"Proposed Venice Boutique Hotel Development Community Presentation – Monday, August 13th, 2012, 7 PM
at Joe's Restaurant.

Its a hundred room hotel, and 16 condos adjoining with boutiques four stories high across from Westminster Elementary School ….

The project is to be designed by Venice architect David Hertz, FAIA,Studio of Environmental Architecture.

-Complete overview including proposed amenities & variances
– Responses to feedback from first meeting
– New feedback from attendees and discussion"

KFC is okay but I really miss Pioneer Chicken on Washington.
