OfflineThree homes burglarized on the same day, bikes stolen from yards and two women robbed by a man who just walked into their home and helped himself, in front of them, to valuables in a bag.
The Walk Streets Neighborhood Association is meeting with LAPD Senior Lead Officer Kristan Delatori on Saturday morning.
She will talk about how two homes were left unlocked and the third had a not-very-well-hidden key.
It may be that some self-important Walk Streets residents are so out-of-touch with the neighborhood they don't even know what's going on, or it may be just a belief it can't happen to me. LAPD put a car on Nowita Court for a while on Saturday and, right after the black and white left, a garage door was spotted wide open on that alley, with two bikes next to a car inside and the residents in the house behind a closed door.
