Already been told yesterday by a trio of bums that the 'cops can't arrest us no more'.

That said so eloquently.

Marta, I agree that the city and state is broke. I feel they should stop spending money on installing and painting bike lanes before they fill pot holes. In my neighborhood they keep painting a handicap curb blue despite the fact the handicapped driver passed away nine (9) years ago. There is NO protocol to stop painting the curbs! Also maybe spend a little less money on vehicles, buy basic models instead of the most expensive ones. Little stuff like that adds up.

Spending priorities need to be tightened up.

Orange County didn't re classify those crimes to infractions. Sh*t in public down there and you might go to jail.

Watch out Shanty, that trio of bums are going to unionize all the panhandlers on OFW and the city attorney is going to sight you for an infraction for not giving them money so they can booze it up.

The 3rd St encampment is up to well over 100 folks nightly and the rowdiness factor (yelling, fighting, vomiting, leaving a mess) is up markedly over the past couple weeks.  They're also setting up around 7:30 (instead of 9p) and lingering way past 6am.  Earlier in the summer the crew seemed to be more 'neighborly' but things are getting out of hand.  I don't suppose these changes are going to help…

Now, they can get cited for infractions. At least now they will have an abundance of toilet paper to wipe themselves after crapping all over the residents.
