From Yo! Venice! reader Chris W:

The sirens and helicopter were at Lincoln and Milwood. A stolen car heading east on Milwood at high speed with 2 suspects inside collided head on with a passerby vehicle at Lincoln Blvd. destroying both vehicles. The passerby’s car was thrown into another passerby’s vehicle as well. The pursuing police car was damaged when it collided into the lamppost in front of 7-11. The suspects, both Hispanic, one male with a shaved head wearing a white t-shirt and black pants and a woman in her twenties were caught after a brief foot chase by the officers. The male resisted arrest according to eyewitnesses. The passerby’s and the suspects were reported to have been transported to the hospital. Lincoln Blvd. remains closed in both directions.

Thanks, for the info. I passed through there twice and even went to the 7-11 and never saw any media. I have spent the last couple of hours on and off searching all the news sites and had found nothing on this accident. I thought that was strange considering there was a LAPD car involved.

I have a feeling a lot of stolen cars head east on Milwood at high speeds because there are often cars zooming down that street – there's a distinct difference between someone enjoying the nice wide straight road and someone making a fast getaway.
