This week the California Assembly's Education Committee failed to pass a modification to the way teachers are fired, so that the process would have been streamlined.

Opposed by the all the teachers' unions, Betsy Butler went along with the union dance card, and the process to dismiss perverts from the class room continues to be cumbersome, to say the least. It's a shame that our representative in the assembly acted in the best interests of the union and not the children.
