(7 votes) Charges have been filed against two men accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Culver City.

Fernando Sernas and Gilberto Reyes-Martinez, both 29 years old, were arrested and charged in connection with a sexual assault that concluded in Culver City but began in Venice Beach.
Culver City police officers met with the alleged victim last Thursday, July 5. During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify the two suspects as Gilberto Reyes-Martinez and Fernando Sernas, both 29-year-old Los Angeles residents.
The men were arrested by Culver City police and charged by the District Attorney's Office after the detectives took them into custody.
Investigators say the men met the girl in Venice Beach and the initial crime happened there. The three then went to the Paradise Inn and Suites at Washington Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue, where authorities say the men sexually assaulted the girl.

OfflineThe family is wonderful and supportive.. this girl simply went a few blocks to the Walgreens on Lincoln to buy some candy , gum and the men followed her and forced her into a car .. they overpowered her and brought her to a motel.. she is a child
DO not blame the family of this victim or any other of the victims. Blame the men who are 3 times older and can only get pleasure from overpowering children prey on.. WHy do men rape? Why do we blame the victims NO ONE deserves this for any reason.
It only take a second to be overpowered especially if you are 12..thats all she was 12…..
