Just found her tonight@ about 11:15pm Friday.

Black lab mix female with a collar but no tags.

Very good disposition.

Seems very heathy and looks like she has not been on the street for very long at all.

We found her in the area of 6th and Flower.

Respond here or call 310- UPDATE: OWNERS WERE FOUND!

Please let us know if you see any signs posted for her.

Hi.  I am not the owner of the dog, but I have been looking for a female black lab/mix.  I own a home in Venice near Abbot Kinney & Venice and I adopted a shelter dog in January and he needs a sister.  I don't know what you plan on doing with her if you don't find the owner but I would love to adopt her if you aren't going to keep her or take her to the shelter or if you do find the owner and they don't want her.  I think a vet could check if she has a microchip.  Please keep me in mind, I would give her a very loving home.  Thanks!

We will keep you mind but we really want to see her find her way home.
She is a good influence on our own dog.

Thanks for the interest.

Saw a poster for a dog named Woody that looks similar (though the dog on the poster looks younger).  Not sure if Woody is a boy or girl.  See if the dog responds to Woody . . . if so I can email you the number don't want to post their number on the board

thought i'd share how the dog was re-united.

so, having lived approx 6 years in venice, i find myself in toronto, on a couch, watching rangers hockey game this past saturday nite with a buddy – who is a long time venice resident, but also in toronto on business.

he says "my dog – which i left in care of some friends while i'm here in toronto – was let out by my friends and now its gone.  i'm heartbroken.  i hope someone finds him".

i say…"have u checked the internet?" "no" "ok, let me look at yovenice on my iPad.  hey, there's a dog found right here." "let me look at that.  hey, that looks a little like my dog, but i don't have my reading glasses on. (finds reading glasses) holy holy, that IS my dog. 6th and flower! yes. what's the number?"

the rest, as they say, is history.

so, from 3000 miles away a dog was found and united using yovenice.

over and out until next time.
