Yeah, just got back. Needless to say I am exhausted by I will be at the gym at 9. You gonna be there? The freakos were not out so much last night. We did count maybe 150 homeless people mostly keeping to themselves. It was clear that they knew we were coming. Gonna surprise them next time. But it was definitely an informative tour.

I don't think that venting on this blog is a waste of time. Try to convince anybody with a mistaken attitude towards a problem you have found interferes with your life and you will find that they simply will not listen to you, usually, because it will require their time and energy to address. They will trivialize the problem, they will attribute your annoyance to your bad attitude, and they will not make any attempt to reconsider what they think because they are confident that what they know is what there is to know. The first step in overcoming this kind of inertia is griping and discussing what must be done. But that is not enough, not by a long shot.

Yes, word goes out, and they sweep OFW in advance. Used to happen all the time when Ahnald S used to tour.

I hope I never have to tangle with a fellow like that – what with the aggressive and manly use of the symbol ;) Then there's novel and sphinter-puckeringly terrifying demanding for "respect"! – never heard that one before. (Most people who demand respect are the very people who do not deserve it.)

Thanks Thomas but I am too old to be afraid of anything. It just doesn't faze me anymore. What I really want is for little innocent children and their grandparents to be able to walk down the Boardwalk at anytime they want without being subjected to the abject criminality that is present today. That's my goal. That's my intention. That's it. I am so busy I just do not have time to interact with silly people. I will continue to post on this thread until we make enough progress. Peace, bn

Try to ignore it. It's just another lame attempt to distract anyone from working towards cleaning up a section of our town that desperately needs it. People should feel safe at the beach no matter the hour. Period. Stay the course Brad. It's working.
