Someone set on fire two black trash cans full of trash sometime before trash pickup on Tuesday (1/8).  The cans were in the alley between Rose Ave. and Flower Avenue, close to 7th Street.

I wonder if this is the same firebug that was lighting cars on fire one alley over near Flower and 7th.

If anyone saw anything strange Monday night or early Tuesday, please call LAPD with the info.  Would be especially helpful if someone has video from the alley that night.

Is it possible that there were combustible materials being thrown away in that trash can that ignited the fire?

Just noticed that Name on Rice put up a video of a transient getting arrested for lighting a can on Ocean Front Walk on fire ...

These cans were a few houses apart and on different sides of the alley; seems unlikely it was accidental.
