I tried to comment on the poorly researched article and the examiner flagged my comment as spam. Anyone else try?

If you are flagged as SPAM, try changing the Anonymous to another name.

Yeah, I'm the one who called it "shallow, stupid and completely uninformed."

You can also report the article using the handy dandy "Report" button. I chose the "incorrect information" option on the scroll bar of choices for my note. =^.^=

They deleted my comment too, so I figured "f*ck em, I'll do it again."  My 2nd comment was tagged as spam, but then…the site actually asked me to take a survey about the content of Examiner.  So I did.  My moderately negative comment was nothing compared to how I just completely reamed them on the survey.

Proud to be a plain belly sneetch and I still don't want people dumping sewage in my street.

Examiner is a website anybody can sign up to the a "reporter" for. I did it briefly myself before deciding it was a waste of time.

There is virtually no editorial control and each "examiner" gets to moderate their own comments.

I could ask to be the "Los Angeles RV dweller examiner" and they'd give me a forum.

It is an official option of your site to post as "anonymous", so your "were removed because they were sent anonymously" makes no sense, Kim.

It sounds to me from what you have written (your having knowledge of why they were removed) and the fact that the comments were published and then taken down, that you were in fact directly responsible for taking these comments down. Am I correct?

Your IT person will show they were from multiple people, as there were existing comments before I put my comment .. which means multiple people.

Now .. sounds to me like you deleted these comments because you did not like the criticism … and in doing so, made it where those that are criticial of your article would not have their voices heard … whitewashing your own reporting.

You have not provided me with your editors email addresses, I suppose I will have to get them myself to ask them about why you have done this.

Please feel free to correct me if you were not in fact the individual responsible for deleting comments critical of your reporting.

Do you live in Venice, or ?

Awesome!

Just for the record, for my first deleted comment, I did sign up with a username.  It was "Venice Guy".  (Hell, I didn't say it was a good user name.)  After my two comments were deleted, I sent Kim a third comment, asking "Why do you delete all negative comments?"  This comment was immediately deleted.
