Did you hit him back? Did he get arrested? So many questions ….. Also…I hope your face is alright. 

I chased him down and we i hit him a few times, but he wouldn't fight back? I was like seriously? You're gonna just hit me for no reason and now you don't wanna fight? So my roomie pulled me away from him and I walked away while he kept talking . That's when the gentlemen on the bicycle informed us that he had punched someone else before he hit me. What'd the other guy do? Looks like nothing. My face is ok, just a tiny cut on my lip. He caught me off guard more than anything, I mean I was literally standing facing a store, right behind the crowd where the old reggae looking dude jumps on broken glass/where the breakdancers usually perform. Broad daylight. I couldn't believe it. Right before it happened, I was walking out of the vintage clothing store across from Danny's. Some tall punk kid walked by and asked one of the employees that was smoking if he could bum a smoke, she said she didnt have one, he said youre a liar, she said actually im not,  he said you nose is growing by the second as he walked away and kept talking . I couldn't help myself, I said, dude, go get a job. He was all it's none of your business, I said, it happened right in front of me so I'm making it my business, he kept walking while talking smack. 3 minutes later I got cold cocked by some completely random dude. For a split second, I thought it was the punk kid i was yelling at with his friends but nope, it was totally unprovoked. All of these incidents plus the one's I described above make me hate my neighborhood. A friend house got broken into while both of them were in their rooms. I got to their place and we waited 40 minutes for the cops to show up. These are 2 females by the way. What the \*#!%$!?!!?! Really?

That old black guy who walks on the glass takes forever to do that damn trick. I might have punched somebody too after watching that drawn out performance.

I love how the an active VNC member that is running for President of the VNC can come on this site and threaten to call the LAPD and lawyers for a post but won't actually post here. That is called LURKING. 

Reading this thread Linda and other current VNC members? These are your homeless friends in action. You are responsible for screwing up our neighborhood and the community is sick of it. 

Time for a change at the VNC to get these people out of here, people like Linda Lucks and her violent transient friends. 

I honestly want to bring the Guardian Angels out of retirement and start a Venice Chapter. Yes, I watch too much It's Always Sunny. I would have no problem walking the beat in a beret and red jacket and just mop up the concrete with all the people who beg and harass residents. I actually don't mind the homeless and transients as long as they keep to themselves but a lot of them DON'T. If they were in fear of police presence or being attacked back maybe they'd be a bit more hesitant before acting like assholes…

I think that most people  who aren't residents of the community don't really see the problem. It's not until you start hanging out in the neighborhood all the time or start living there that you see some of the aforementioned things happen. Really? They actually were around? I don't think anyone would be effective unless they were from the neighborhood itself.
