As seen on Curbed LA: one of the buildings at Dennis Hopper's old compound in Venice is for rent on Craigslist. From the Craigslist ad:

$4500 / 1br – 1330ft². Front condo of three Frank Gehry units in the Hopper Compound. Skylights offer tremendous natural light. 30 foot ceilings on second level. High end kitchen. Concrete floors on first level, wood floors on second level.

Hopper Venice Beach

Private two car tandem garage. Just a stones throw away from Abbot Kinney, the country's hottest street with restaurants, art galleries, and amazing retail. Amazing architectural space.

Hopper= Legendary to a certain degree for a body of work on film that will live on and holds up over time. Priceless.

Gehry= Innovator of disposable architecture. Creator of material for a landfill.

Lot of money but looks like a pretty large 1 bedroom. Wonder how many bathrooms and whether there is any outdoor space.
