When asked for comment on the defacing of the "Welcome to Venice" Lohan piece, artist Jules Muck sent back a picture of the piece, now returned to it's original state, with the subject title "This is my comment…"

This Jules Muck character should pack up her bags and get out of Venice!!!! She is a disgrace to this community posting up this horrid piece of crap! Is she serious? Is she a celebrity groupie?? Grow up and move back to wherever you came from because Venice does not want you here!!!

I'm not much of a fan of LiLo, or of "street art," but good for her for eliminating the very offensive symbolism that the defacers used.

Amazing how many "first time" participants have been starting with a hateful message lately, then disappearing.
Almost as if somebody were intentionally trying to discredit this site. Not that anything like that could happen. Everybody here in Venice favors free speech, after all. We even have a whole section of OFW dedicated to it…

OK. I've just become a Jules Muck fan!
Look at the current piece.
Look at the one from the video posted here earlier today.
Other than fixing the defacement, do you see the difference?
(Hint, it's around her neck…)
I'm still not a fan of most street art, but I do love a good sense of humor!

I think the community should rally around Lindsay. We could have a festival on Abbot Kinney! I KNOW it would be bigger than the P.O.S. Abbot Kinney Festival. Probably be more fun. Close off the street, have plenty drinks, Ronson could D.J., special appearance of Dikes on Bikes! Venice could shine!!!!
I know I am dreaming, but think of what could be!

What an ass. I support any art that isn't vandalism. Even if it is grotesque.
Painting on something that isn't yours without being asked is vandalism.
