Good news for Venice! The RG Club (Red Garter) on Lincoln will reopen November 8th! Venetian Brad Neal is now heading up the spot, which will feature a full bar and live jazz!

Although Neal purchased the club last December, getting all of the proper paperwork together for the venue took ten months. The Red Garter was operated as a live music venue for nearly 30 years, but Neal discovered upon purchase that the club was not actually licensed for live music. The venue is now properly permitted and Neal has also reunited the parking lot two doors down with the club, which will allow Neal to obtain a change of use for the upstairs from residential to commercial. Neal is currently developing plans to add a restaurant upstairs with indoor/outdoor dining and a rooftop deck.

As of now, the plan is to “soft open” with a six week run by Jazz legend Azar Lawrence. In the new year, the club will close down for a major remodel.

Looks like Lincoln may be the next “hot spot” in Venice!
