This weekend will be sunny with highs around 80° here in Venice.  As it is Labor Day weekend, there will be a “Severe Risk” of tourist visitations expected at the beach as Angelenos try to escape the 90° heat downtown and 100° heat expected in parts of the valleys.

Residents are advised to do all of their grocery shopping by 11am today. Access for beer and wine runs to local corner stores by foot, skateboard or bicycle are expected to remain open and safe. Resident parking should be secured by 10am Saturday at the latest, with precautions taken until 5 pm Monday.
