Last Christmas Eve Madsteez and Venice resident Mar began a mural on the side of the soon to be Boost Kitchen on Abbot Kinney. The mural was partially inspired by a picture that MadSteez took while visiting Dennis Hopper at his studio.
Madsteez says “we heard 1,000′s of comments while painting this piece but the one that means the most was when an older gentleman walked up and matter-of-factly said, ‘It’s about time’.”
