The compound of long time and well loved Venice resident Dennis Hopper has been listed at $6.245 million according to Jade Mills of Beverly Hills-based Coldwell Banker Previews International. The 15,500-square-foot property consists of a barn-style main house, three townhouses designed by architect Frank Gehry, a hundred-year-old cottage, a lap pool and a pool house.
From Reuters:
The 4,900 square feet main house, completed in 1987 by architect Brian Murphy, can be bought — along with the 1,355 square-foot cottage, the pool and the pool house — for $3.95 million. The three townhouses, built in 1981, range in size from 1,143 to 1,330 square feet (106-123 square meters), and can be bought for $750,000 to $1.05 million each.
