We went to drop off some things the other day at the St. Joseph Center‘s Thrift Store only to find that the Lincoln drop center and thrift store has moved. The official word is “We are currently closed as we prepare for a grand re-opening this spring in an exciting new location.”
For now, drop things at 1848 Lincoln in Santa Monica Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-3pm. For more information call 310-396-6468.
Combined with the closure of the Boys and Girls Club Thrift Store on Washington in December after 34 years in business, this is a bad blow to charity in Venice Beach.
