A "Mobile Pie Hole" is touring the country this month to promote the second season of ABC’s Pushing Daisies . It will be on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica this Wednesday!
Pushing Daisies is on ABC on Wednesdays at 8pm (season premier Oct. 1st). I’ll admit I’ve never seen the show but it sounds fun. The Premise: a guy named Ned can bring dead things back to life, including rotten fruit, so he opens a pie shop. Some private investigator finds out about Ned’s "gift" and convinces him to help solve mysteries by raising the dead and getting them to name their killer. Ooo the twist: His childhood sweetheart is murdered, he brings her back to life, solves the case - but now he can’t ever touch her again or she’ll die. Sounds ripe with…something…frustration? I don’t know…the critics seem to like it a lot. Watch this little "making of" video or some episodes on abc.com and judge for yourself.
We’ll be heading over to the Mobile Plot Hole…er…Pie Hole…because, you know, free pie!
