Oftentimes you hear the expression “only in Venice” as our community is so unique. For the most part the community is very accepting of all people and points of view. Saturday was no exception, as the Go Topless Day Parade peacefully coexisted next to the 11th annual Big Gospel Rally “Festival” on Venice Beach. The Gospel Rally claims 350 souls were saved last year and this year their goal was 1,000. We hope it worked out for them.
While the preacher spoke of same sex marriages and the devil and temptation and all that razz, many of the attendants happily snuck a peep at some of gods best work …. nearly naked women.
